Learn how to use Biblemarks to stay committed to your daily Bible reading plan

Getting Started

After you create an account and log in, you'll arrive at your personal dashboard. Here's how to set up your first reading plan:

  1. Go to Settings (accessible from your user menu)
  2. Select which Bible reading plan(s) you'd like to follow. We offer:
    • Grant Horner's System - Read from multiple Bible sections daily for balanced coverage
    • Chronological - Read the Bible in the order events occurred
  3. Click the button for each plan you want to enable
  4. Return to your dashboard to start reading

Your Dashboard

Your dashboard displays all of your active reading plans as tabs at the top:

  • Click any plan tab to switch to that reading plan
  • The active tab is highlighted in blue
  • Each plan shows your current reading assignment
  • You can manage your active plans anytime from Settings

Reading Your Assignments

Click on any reading plan from your dashboard to view your current assignment and your progress:

The Reading Assignment Screen

Once you select a reading plan, you'll see:

  • The name of your current reading assignment
  • Your progress indicator showing current position (e.g., 1/89)
  • The total number of times you've completed this plan
  • Done button - Mark this chapter as read and move to the next
  • Undo button - If you mark something done by mistake
  • Navigation links to move between chapters

Tip: For Grant Horner's system, you'll see labels like "← prev chp" and "next chp →" to help you navigate through chapters. For the Chronological plan, you'll see "← prev day" and "next day →".

Managing Your Plans

You can adjust your reading plans anytime from the Settings page:

  1. Click the user menu in the upper right corner and select Settings
  2. You'll see all available reading plans
  3. Click the button for any plan to enable or disable it
  4. Enabled plans are highlighted in blue
  5. Disabled plans appear with a white background
  6. Your selections save automatically

Note: If you enable a new plan, a fresh reading assignment will be created for you. If you disable and re-enable a plan, your previous progress is preserved.
